Catch a Wave.....

I found this not too long ago.
The Endura Wave. ;)

Nice write up.

I've been looking for a waved knife but keep getting pulled in the direction of Emerson though. Probably because I've already got a box full of Enduras and Delicas.

The p'kal is my first and only waved folder. I love it! I wish my Manix 2 and Manix 2XL had that feature.......maybe something Spyderco could do in the future?

Actually, I think the Endura and Delica models wave better than the Emersons. I used a Mini Commander, P-Sark, and CQC-14 before I got my Endura Wave and like it better. The wave hook seems to be at a better angle for a positive opening.

You talked me into it. Pulled the trigger on a waved Matriarch. Mostly because I've got an extra set of Allen Putman Endura scales hanging around. :)

I have the Matriarch Wave, you will like it. But its not a general purpose knife.

The KaraHawk is next on my list. Id also like to find an Endura 3 Wave to round out the collection. Im also going to do some Tsunami wave mods on some older abused Enduras and Bryds I have laying around. I also have a Chinook II that I obtained from a local pawn shop a few years ago that Im going to wave mod. Before anyone freaks out about modding a rare Chinook II, it had the tip snapped off and cost $20. I had my knife maker buddy re-profile the blade for me.
