SLOWLY working my way out of the hole that hurting my back caused.

got these two done last night and have 3 more (a nifty Bowie, a Camp bowie, and a new Hunter design I've been fooling with) about half done. should finish em up this weekend and I'll be back on my schedule

Those are both very nice Stephan - I wish you a swift recovery and look forward to seeing the other pieces as well.

Your knives have been improving at a breakneck pace.

I so agree!

Some makers come to their skills as easy as breathing, others toil constantly to improve....it is these makers that I admire for their tenacious approach, Stephan is one of those makers.

These are VERY attractive knives, well-proportioned, good choice of the woods, excellent handle shape aesthetically speaking, and superb execution of the guard sculpting.

The ONLY qualm I have is with the blade....I simply prefer that my fighters have a top edge or swedge.....

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I very much agree, if you look at the way i hardened them they were intended to have a swedge of the same hardness as the edge, however I was unable to convince the prospective buyer of the need for a swedge.

I like them too. They have flowing lines and an appealing finish. Kind of 'bush-knifey' with that full single grind.

Back pain sucks! Here's hoping you recover quick:thumbup:

Nice Stephan.
I prefer a clip as well, but the man who's paying the one's whose saying.

Take care of that back.

I wish you a speedy recovery!! And OUCHY I might add.

Those knives are amazing!!!

Beautiful knives! Glad to hear you are on the mend.

Turning out quality work when your in pain is a sign of a true professional. Hope the back gets better.
