Back in the 80's, I saw a small(smaller than a spot welder), easy to use, relatively inexpensive cathodic titanium nitride application machine.
I'm having a helluva time finding one of these today. Does anyone know what they're called, who manufactures them, etc?
Oh, and the reason I'm posting in this thread is that I want to use it to put some mottled TiN coatings on blades.
Edit: It could have been a tungsten coating applicator, I'd be interested in those too.
