That's pretty much the story. Yangdu & I should be getting into the Tulsa aiport at just after 2PM on Sat. the 22nd. That should give all of us plenty of time for BS & beer, knives, swords and maybe a couple of guns, and some food. I'll be able to stay until about noon Sunday and then I gotta head up to Girard. My brother Fred is doing a little cookout and get together for my birthday.

Bro, I'll email you the trip details and look forward to seeing you and everybody who can make it.

Get your tickets. I'll have some khukuris there you can take home with you at prices better than the UBDOTDs.

I'm trying to get a couple of the Florida nephews to fly up but don't know if they can make it. And, I'm pressing our Safety Officer to fly down. We'll see. We may have a small group but it'll sure be a mighty one.

:
I'm already here!!!!:D
I wish the ones from Florida would make it, but I understand commitments and other situations that may not let them. Doesn't mean we have to like it though.:)
Barb and me are very much looking forward to being the co-hosts of the 2nd annual September Khukuri Khonvention!!!!!!!
And I'm already looking forward to next year if it's sup[posed to go on.
It would be really great if the next one is in Reno a year from now and you could bring one of the kamis over from Nepal as well as some Nepali Dancers.:D
They would both have some tales to tell about the crazy Americans when they got home.:D

I will be on the lookout for your e-mail Bro. I am going to check the WebTV every morning for new mail until I get things organized over here like I want them.
I have 108 unread e-mails over here I have forwarded to myself with all the information I wanted to save from my favorites as well as all my e-mail addresses I wanted to keep. PJ was over again this evening and showed me some more things I can do with the computer so maybe it will go faster than I first thought.:D
Having an almost unlimited amount of files is wonderful as well as a keyboard that's not only quick, but doesn't miss keys.:)
I do have to say you're right and I'm wondering why I didn't get a computer sooner.
One of these days I will be able to write in Tsalagi (Cherokee)Font, now won't that be something?!?!?!?!?

I am still working on it, every time I turn my head the bills are pileing up. I am determined that come hell or highwater I have to go.
I might just have to pull some favors from some old buddys.

We are going to have such a good time it is going to be re-god-dayumed-diculous. :D :D :D

I have my ticket, a 2000 Saturn LS300 with leather a V6 and the works!!:p She should get us there with no problem!!:D Oh, and should I add it also has a nearly 20 cubic foot trunk to haul back all those khukuris I'm going to adopt!!!!:) :D :p ;)

I have my tickets! BUT, the way they are set up now I will arrive on Sunday at the same time Uncle Bill is leaving:( I will try and change them.....I'll keep you posted.

I'll know by next Friday whether I am able to pop down to join you folks or not.

Saturday is the big day as Yvsa has set it up and that's good for me. My brother will be working in Ohio and will be home for the weekend only. He has to leave around 3PM Sunday to get back to Ohio so if we are to get any time together for the birthday cookout in Girard I'll have to get up there by noon on Sunday which means I'll have to leave Catoosa about 10:30 AM on Sunday.

Bro, send me an email so I'll have your new email address.

Okay guys. I know Uncle Bill's beer of choice, but how about the rest of you that are coming?
I figure some Bud and Coors and I will even go to the liquor store to get the good stuff.:D
There will be Pepsi and Coke for any kids as well as some other soft drinks. Probably only T-Bone's.

How about Gregg and some of the other Okies?
You guys gonna make it?:)

Also are we gonna need more than one tent or not?
We need to know so they will be on hand for you outdoorsy types...
Dave K are you gonna make it from Arizona?

I don't have Gregg's e-mail addy or I would send him a message about this thread so he could put his .02 cents in.
Bro do you have it and if so will you shoot him an e-mail?
How about any other guys from here.
If Rob can come from Maine surely the guys from Oklahoma could make it, if works not an issue.:(

Yvsa, I don't drink that much and the wife doesn't really either but I'm a Pepsi addict!!!:) Will we have hot doggs and burgers, chips? I can help pay if it helps at all. Chamaine and myself are planing on staying at the local hotell after driving 12 hours I think a hot shower and a soft bed will be nice! We could meet you at your home around 10-11am? This will be awesome!!!!:D

: We're gonna BBQ some country style ribs, both pork and beef, but will have hot dogs and hamburgers if you really want them.:D And I suppose we really should have some on hand for the kiddies if any show up.
That's why it's so important for us too know who's coming.

There will also be potato and macaroni salad that no one else in the world can make like Barb.:D
And since I'm also a Pepsi addict there will be plenty along with Coke and some other soft drinks.
But I never turn down a chance to hoist some suds with my buds ya know.;)

And if Dave K shows up I will break out a bottle of good single malt scotch for those who like it.
But above all remember that this is a Family gathering.:)

I'll Be there with the family and a few friends. I'll try to bring a few sheaths along too. I haven't posted or read the forum very much lately, I've been very busy.
Terry

You guys are making me cry.:( I want to go badly. It is going to take an act of God to get me there at this point. Maybe next time. Be safe and have fun.:)

I'm shooting for a major convention in Reno next year -- not sure when -- but with maybe a kami or two, a couple of Nepali dancers, and maybe a cook to do up some Nepali food.
