...and the Mouse will PLAY!

My wife is off to see her recently-widowed sister in Florida for a week. You fellas got any advice for what I should do with myself this coming week? ;)

Dang, J. You'd be willing to drive all the way up here to party? Well I guess that's dedication to the craft - I mean willing to party with another knifemaker. Geez, we could round up all the NECKA crew and have a big Boston Tea Party I guess! I know a pub down by the water where the pints of stout flow like water! Well, at least it felt like that after 5-6 of 'em! :p

Are you nuts? Her sister can drive a man INSANE! >>shudder<<

No thanks, bro. I'll stay up here and make some knives and maybe have a scotch or two.

make that a scotch or three. I need one myself, but I don't touch the hard stuff anymore,, so I have to ask others to have one for me...so have one for me. Have a fifth for me would ya!

I still like my beer though, and that stout sounds great!

Some folks are just born under a lucky star! Hey, tip one for me, too!

Trouble is, I only like the good stuff now. Good thing I don't drink too much anymore or I'd be broke. But still, a bottle of Glenmorangie or Macallan seems to find its way to my shop once in a while! :D

Maybe a trip down into N. Conway, tip a phew:confused: I'll meet ya there. I used to have a ski place in the town, even grew up (in RI) with one of the engineers who drives the steam engine for the Conway Scenic Railway.

Larry, are you talking about the Cog Railway? That's the scariest-looking rig I have ever seen in my life.

Jeff,

You're right about the Cog, it is a heck of a ride, I did that about 20 years ago. Alas, my buddy RJ does the train out of N. Conway, much more sedate, but when it gets up into Tuckermans Ravine, it also is a heck of a ride! :D :D

OK, I'll get 15 to 20 members and we will be up, I hope you have enough room for all of us to crash at your house.
PS: I drink Bud and Jack.

I'll take some Mich Light (gotta watch ma figure.) But since you're buying, those stouts sound pretty tasty too. :D

Gosh all this talk about beers and jacks and stouts is making me feel really good. Heck, all of us going to Atlanta should get together and have a few drinks when June rolls around.

Scotch for me Please..
good stuff though .. :)
cats away hmmmm, if IG comes up watch out if he gets into his special Bottle,
he goes from a woman's Man to a mans man real fast..
I think he's mixing his relish with it..  :) :D
