A year or so ago there was somewhat of a spike in interest in Cattaraugus knives. About that time I came across a little cleaver that I thought was, at the very least, interesting.
These pics were taken as soon as I got home. This is the condition it was in when I got it.
I've since cleaned it up a bit and even put it to use in the kitchen.
It has a right handed chisel grind and obviously laminated blade (4th pic). The handle is a rigid plastic with some very fine cracks near the blade.
I'm sure some of you have seen me post this one before in an old Catt thread. I was in the kitchen today and found that it had migrated to the back of the drawer. I haven't used it in months.
So, since it is doing me no good and someone else might enjoy using this little classic, I'm going to pass it on to one of you. Someone out there has to be capable of showing it some love.
