Hello, I'm new to this forum but I thought I might go ahead and make a thread as some research I was doing brought me here. I'm a beginning knife collector, and just recently my mother came across a straight razor in my grandmothers' things and she passed it to me. Not a knife, but she knew I would find it interesting.

I know the Cattaragus Cutlery Co., but I only knew them for knives, so I set about finding information on their razors- possibly dating it or finding the proper care and restoration process for it as it does have some rust and a missing insignia. Is there any way someone could help me find more info about it? The model is a B52T and I'd be happy to provide pictures of the razor if that would help.

I'm mostly interesting in trying to date it- for personal reasons as my mother does not know who the razor actually belonged to. Her father was not the first owner, and I was hoping to track it back if I could find a possible date. Any help is welcomed!
