Cattaraugus folding machette

I picked it up today, and it looks like the Callimus ones from WW2, the liner lock still works fine, but there is a lot of rust spots to clean off of this.

It also has the metal blade guard that goes over the exposed blade when you fold it.

Has anybody ever heared of it?
 
T4, several companies made the WW II machetes. In addition to Camillus and Cattaragus I believe Collins and Pal made them and I'm sure there were others.

Thanks for the info Phantom. I only picked it up for 50 bucks, and there aren't any grinding marks on it, and it hasn't been abused, so I think that aside from the rust a good collector's piece.
 
Imperial made them too. I believe they are the most rare. BTW, you made one helluva buy.
