Cattaraugus thrower. Any info on these?

Just bought this one as I have never seen one made by Cattaraugus?
And a quick Google search didn't turn up anything? Nothing at all?
So just had to get it based on that alone

. . its in the mail to me now. nfs.
Any info would be much appriciated. Years made etc.

Discovered it is part of the Case dynasty. Kinfolks knives also had a model like it.
Just to wrap it up.

Still in the mail. Looks light. Mainly a collectable. 60 -70 yrs old. Will find out though.
It will be here frit Along with 2 Case knives. (should all be the same)

Came in a day early. They are very small. But are easy to throw into the ground.
Case is 7 1/4", Catt is 7 3/8" and a hair larger than the Case overall.
But are small and light. Neat stuff.

Also picked up a Spyderco Lg and Med thrower set. As they are discontinued and being blown out. $78 & $73 a set on the bay.

Measured it, .Yes, 050-.060 tapered tang.

Wow, very interesting on a knife of that vintage & low price! I assume it was done to aid in flight…?
