I had Gary make a Horizontal carry leather knife sheath for my work knife, my Spyderco Military, I like that knife alot. It came back Beautiful, a perfect fit and the knife was sharper than when it left.

The bad part is that when I put the sheath on my work belt the belt looks terrible, now I have to go and buy a fancy belt to go with it, It will be hard to find a belt as good. He needs to offer a belt to go with it. I thought I had seen good leather work till I saw this, His is Better than Anyone

Thanks
You will be hearing from me again, as soon as I can figure out which knife to do next.

LOL Bo. But keep in mind, if you get a nice belt to go with ur nice sheath, you will then need a nice pair of pants and so on.

Bet that sheath would look right at home on a Milt Sparks or Mitch Rosen belt!!!!!!

A nice pair of new custom made boots would look great with the new sheath and belt!

Good News

I told Gary about my belt problem and it turns out he does belts too.
Do yourself a favor if you order a custom sheath go ahead and get the matching belt, it will save time.

Man Bo, you sure know how to put a scare into a guy! Had me going, I thought oh no, what have I done now!?!

Glad it is working out for you, that G10 material acts somewhat like a file so the bottom corner of your Military digs a little now but the sheath should wear in.

Man, I gotta go get a Tums....

Yes! Drop the burrito...

Gary,

Can you make a sofa/recliner set to match my Military?

David Rock,
Does your sofa/recliner have a nested liner?
(uh, I'm a poet?)

Well the cat's out of the bag, I have made a few belts for some folks that specifically asked me, as I find it tough to do belts for people far away, I like to measure them for the belts and then the matter of design on a belt is very special to me, don't like making two of the same kind and when I make one I hope that the person that I make it for likes the design, that always worries me I guess.
LarryLuana and Paul Davidson and Budman have belts that I made and now Bo will soon have one. But I don't really try to gather the belt business.

Gary has made me 3 sheaths with the Indian Head inset on them for 2 of my CR Sebenzas, and 1 for my Leatherman Wave.
I live out in the West, so wear western style clothes all the time, and when I received the sheaths Gary made, even my nicest belt did not match up to the quality of the sheaths. So I was in a spot, and my leather attire looked unbalanced. So a person who does excellent leatherwork, who I promised not to mention because he said it was not his cup of tea, upon begging and pleading, made me a belt to match.
Let me say that it made the attire complete, and made me extremely happy, but I promised not to reveal his name.
So I won't say his name, but this man is holding back on his complete talent of leatherwork, but that is his choice.
I will continue to order more sheaths as I need them to match this BELT.
I all the time get compliments on the beauty and workmanship on the sheaths, and the matching belt(whom of which I can't say who made), and makes me proud to wear them.

Sorry Gary, I just couldn't help myself.I promise not to repeat this post again.(Thank goodness you can't see my crossed fingers.)

Gary did not tell me it was supposed to be a secret.

At least I was not the only person with the belt problem.

I am glad I am getting mine before Gary gets famous and no longer has time to do stuff for the people on the forums.

Thanks Larry for not mentioning that person, he appreciates it

You to Paul....

Not to worry Bo, I just try and keep that to a minimum is all, belts are a lot different from sheaths, more clothing, and tastes do differ!

Thanks for all the support guys!
