Not too long ago I managed to cut myself with my newest knife, a CRK Professional Soldier. Guess I'll have to keep her now.

I managed to run out of paper towels in the kitchen shortly before cutting myself. I had to use a coffee cup so I didn't drip blood on the carpet when I ran to grab another roll:

It doesn't look too bad afterwards, but man did that bleed everywhere--it even sprayed a bit on the wall!

And yes, the first thing I thought of when I realized it wasn't hospital-worthy was that I should take pictures to post up on BF...

I will say what everyone is thinking. You missed a good opportunity to drink a coffee cup full of your own blood.

Nice to see I'm not the only one who knows the rules about blooding a knife...

Ouch! That looks like straight from a horror movie.
I really think it' s hilarious that one of the first things that came to your mind right after splattering everything with blood was to take pictures of it:D

Sick!! Happens to the best of us. I cut myself real bad w/ my 0560 like the 2nd day I had it. I'll wear the scar forever..
Heal up quick!

I cut myself with my PM2 a few weeks ago when I had been drinking, and it wouldn't stop bleeding. Next time keep the wound elevated above your heart and keep constant pressure on it, preferably with ice to constrict blood vessels.

Glad you made it thru. I removed my the whole tip of my index finger slicing tomatoes with my Bark River Northstar.

I had the same thought a few days ago when I sliced my finger pretty good. Sadly, my iPhone has zero ability to take pictures...:grumpy:

Wow, thanks for all of the well wishes. Here's my finger about two weeks later:

I appreciate the advice; I'll keep that in mind for next time--though hopefully there won't be a next time.
