Black Widows, some tacticle knives, and Big Fighters will be on the table. Some are not on his website and believe me when I say they are awesome.

Cindy, where the heck are the pics? You know you can't start a thread like this and not give us poor unfortunate souls who can not attend Blade a look see. :D

Just hopped onto the Caveman website.
I've never seen his knives before, but I have to agree with blademan 13, they all look beautifully executed.

That big subhilt set my mouth to watering!

:)

I must have about 10 of his knives right now. I am also on the early list to get one of his big fighters. I don't remember the exact time I got in on the Everready figher but, seems like it was around the first part of 2002.

and one of the best bangs for the buck out there. Those of you interested should sign on ASAP, because my mission at Blade is to convince him to make less knives, and charge more for them.

IMHO, he is practically giving them away, and at this point, there is no good reason for that.

I put my money where my mouth is, and have ordered one, with another to follow, and I will pay him more than he asks, and he WILL take my money.(even if he doesn't want to) :D

Best Regards,

Well, actually, there is, it makes them very affordable and exposes his work to a wider, more diverse audience, Bailey Bradshaw has a similar philosophy, he sells his stuff well under what it could be priced at, but he likes it that way, as I'm guessing Geno does as well.

Not that I think for a minute you'll care, but you may make yourself very unpopular with Geno's fans. :) Don't forget, a part of why people like his stuff so much are the very reasonable prices. If he is comfortable with what he makes, maybe you should be too.

On the brighter side, I agree, he makes an exceptionally clean, well made knife and they are an equally exceptional value.

So, like, how about a pic or a link or something?? Yes, I'm lazy, I know.

Sorry for the poor picture quality. The knife is really well conceived and executed and deserves a better photo than this!

I look forward to seeing what Geno brings with him this year.

Cindy sent me a picture of one of Geno's knives that I believe will be at the Blade Show and ask if I could put it out here for everyone to see. She may be along to tell us more about this one.

All she told me was, "This is the picture of the Subhilt Fighter and the handles are African Kudu"

Cindy and Geno. Ya gotta love those wacky Neanderathals :)

Big is always good, but I love those Black Widows! Excellent knife! I hope to get a replacement at Blade.

Thank you Thomason for posting the picture for us. Very appreciated and well wishes your way. This Subhilt Fighter is made out of ATS-34. Guards are 303 stainless. OAL of knife is right around 12 3/4" and blade length is 7 3/4" and price has not been set. The Big Fighters he also made are much bigger and today the sheaths will be sewn, wet molded, and will have the look of a Black Widow sheath, so they will have straps. Thanks for your input and your stoping by!!! :) Cavelady

Didn't I buy my Black Widow from you? It's been so long ago I just don't remember exactly. The knife itself is a real gem.

I'm posting this pic for Cindy and Geno since I screwed the first resizing up. :footinmou Now we just need some specs.

Thank you Stumpy for resizing the picture! Here are the dimensions on this Recurve Fighter that Geno made for the first time. OAL is 13 1/4" and blade length is 8" he was trying to decide if he should bead blast it or leave it with a satin finish, this is still to be completed in time for Blade and wanted opinions. Thanks for looking :) Cavelady www.cavemanengineering.com

Thank You Stumpy for putting this picture in for me, it would have been nice to have a users manuel when Geno bought this camera at the flea market! 3 days to go. Yippie! This fighter is of course a Recurve that he made for the first time and wasn't sure to either bead blast it or leave the satin finish on it. The OAL dimensions are 13 1/4" and the blade is 8". I like both finishes and had one vote for the satin finish. What would you prefer? Opinions and time is pending...what to do! Cavelady www.cavemanengineering.com
