Caveman knife completed

Hi everyone, thought I'd share a recent project.

This one is 3/16" 1095 with a Peters HT, sealed/hardened hemp handle.

Came out too good and I'm gonna be sad to see it go! May have to try and make another for myself. I wish I could capture the feeling of this knife, as an Army brother of mine said: "holding this thing makes me wanna go out and fight a sabertoothed cat, or just kill my dinner with it".

Still trying to figure out the knife photography thing, but here's what I have so far:

Yeah that's completely wild, I'm not sure I'm up to a sabertooth tiger but I could definitely go after some feral cats with that thing. That thing might be a bit harder to clean after but would probably be great during gutting and skinning. the texture of the blade would make good non-slip if you were choked up on it for something and the small guard is good to keep you from slipping over if you don't want to when getting in deep for the trachea. cool dude.
