Hey HOGS,

I'm wondering if the Corrugated Bevel Technology "tapers" down towards the edge of the blade.. not really sure how to explain this

... maybe these pics will help. Imagine you are looking at the cross section of the blade, would it look like this:

Or this

The CBT's are drawn in red.

Really hope i'm making sense here...

Maybe someone could post a pic of the cross section of a blade with CBT?

Any input/help appreciated

Cheers!

My CGFBM seems to have a compound (double) bevel, with CBT in the primary bevel, something like this...

On the cgfbm's the CBT's stick out rather than sinking in like on your drawings. Picture thicker stock milled down to be thinner everywhere but the high ridges of the CBT's. Most of the others are milled in valleys like your drawings.

You mean like this?

Mine looks more like my first picture to my eye, but it's hard to tell

Yes except the saber flat is the highest ridge. Notice on RCB's photos how the ridges are the only shiny areas between the edge and the saber flat? ;)

Yep, got it. I looked very carefully and you're right.
