CBT ..... what if....

Lets think, CGFBM, CBT only on one side.... other side either flat, hollow, saber or full convex. Opinions?, suggestions?, thoughts? Discuss.....

I like it. Cbt on one side, full flat right to the edge making it a true asymmetrical edge.

Seriously... Whats the point of an asymmetrical edge? I understand on sushi knives, designed to make perfectly perpendicular cuts on raw fish or sushi rolls, or on chisels, but really what benefit is there other than that.

Seems like a fad to me.

Perfect cuts on sushi rolls. What other reason do you need? Dont need much more in life than a sharp knife and some sushi. Well ok I will admit you need some booze and women thrown in somewhere.
