so did the cbt help, hinder or just look cool? wondering how it did with chopping and/or slicing.
 
I definitely think it helps with chopping. My CGFBM pops right out no matter how deep she bites. It's unique and cool too :D

No regrets! I'll find another one of these days. You did a fantastic job on that blade BTW. Did you ever have it sent in for red liners?
 
As a scientist, you would want a control blade with the exact same geometry, sans CBT. And then, chop, a lot, to establish a fair comparison. ( see: Cliff Stamp ;) )

Since my own knife nerdism doesn't rise to that level, and lacking the correct control, Ill go with:
