CC Telivision

And why would you want to do this? Nothing illegal I hope.

Yes, the perfect vault job does begin with bypassing the cameras. Actually, you've got to defeat the alarms first, but then the cameras...

On my last job

If They Are Wireless Cameras You Would First Need To Find The Frequency. After That You Could Manipulate The Images. If The Cameras Are Hardwired You Would Have To Tap The Coaxial Cable, Typically (rg59u W/95% Copper Braid). If You Short The Braid To The Center Conductor You Would Interrupt The Signal, But Then You Would Initiate The No Video Alarm On The Head End Equipment. Don't Screw With Cctv Equipment Unless You Are A Pro, What Do They Say A Picture Is Wortha 1000 Words.

Unless they're using plenum shielded siamese cable in ducts, smurf tube, conduit etc. Then when you snip it you get the AC or DC voltage, too...

Just put a picture of the empty room (like on the 5th element) up in front of the camera. Of course, If they use motion detectors to turn cameras on and off, then you need a big piece of mylar to defeat the IR. Of course, that'll just give a "bigger" signal to the non-IR portion of the detector...

If you could get into the security housing for the camera, you could just plug a little vcr/dvd into the BNC connector on the camera end of the cable and feed it what you want them to see. Of course, you'd need some security torx heads and a male BNC connector on your coax....

Ahhh ddooodoo, just get a can of matte black spray paint at wally world for 99 cents. Or even some masking tape outta your PSK.
