I was wondering what knives those of us carry who have a CCW. Mine are a Sebenza and Vaquero Grande. You can include your firearm if you wanted to also. Mine would be a hi cap 9MM Glock. Pics would be nice although I can't produce them. I know there have been simular posts like this here recently, just thought I would get a new list started as maybe some people have purchased new hardware since then. Later,
Jeff;)

In Ohio ccw permits only count for pistols, I think you could still get busted for a knife.

Before I had my son I cc a Ed Brown Kobra carry in a ITWB and a Brian Tighe Tighe Pan with Ti handles. Now I carry a Springfield XD and a Spyderco I cant remember the model name of. The lock releases like a vallotton auto but the lower part of the handle slides to release the lock. I'm going to get a ZT to replace it. In Alaska no permit is required for CC of firearms but you can still get busted for a concealed knife. Go figure. Worst part is, it's up to the police officer to decide if your folder is "to big". ><

I have a CCW, but rarely carry. My combo is a SIG 229R 12 round cap. I use a shoulder rig w/ 2 mag pouches. I carry a spare clip in one, and a Strider SMF Marsoc Digi-Cam in the other.
I consider each to be the high end of reliability in their respective functons, why else would you carry them.
Just my opinion.

That sucks I can carry a whole list of weapons. Including billie clubs stun guns knives firearms and many more. Sorry guys:confused:

Same with Michigan. In fact: Some time after the shall-issue law was passed, the name of the license was changed to CPL: Concealed Pistol License.

That being said: I carry any one of my current stable of folders: Camillus CUDA EDC, Spyderco Delica 4, or CRKT S-2 (large). I usually try to keep it to a 3" blade or under. Michigan's law is written kinda funny-like. It says, in effect, that you're not allowed to carry a blade over 3" in length if you plan to use it in committing a crime. (Paraphrased.) So I guess it's okay to commit a crime with a blade 3" or under? :p Regardless of what the law reads, many think a "legal" blade is 3" or under, including some law enforcement officers. So I like to play it safe.

I rarely carry a firearm. It probably wouldn't be welcome at work (tho, much to my surprise, there's currently nothing in the employee rules to prohibit it) and it certainly wouldn't go over well in the men's locker room at my health club. (Not to mention there's no way in hell I'd stash a firearm in a health club locker room locker.) I don't believe storing a firearm in a car is a good idea. So it just isn't practical for me to carry often. I would if it was, tho.

My summertime minimalist carry:

An old pic of my regular everyday pocket dump, with the exception of a new phone, the SIG has been surplanted by an ST/stamped steel hybrid, and the delica is no longer in service:

I carry normally an old Colt CCO,(bought it when they first came out) and a BM710, or MOD tempest/trident or a CQC 7 or Commander or mini Comm. keepem sharp

But nonetheless I don't want my PPK getting lonely, so there's a small Seb in my pocket at all times.

Professor.

Large carry package is a Sig 229 in .357 Sig, with either a Busse SK or a Spyderco Ronin. Sometimes a Spyderco Manix if I feel like a folder.

When I'm in shorts and a t-shirt, it's a S&W 642 with a Barami Hip-Grip and Tyler T-Grip adapter, and a Spyderco Yojimbo for a knife.

I always carry a spare mag for the Sig or a Bianchi Speed Strip for the 642. I carry Gold Dots for ammo. I always have a can of Fox OC and a cell phone as well.

While carrying, there are usually one of a couple knives in my pocket. Most typically it would be a BM 814HS (extremely sharp and love the size). On occasion, it may also be an Al Mar Shrike or G-10 Leek. Any of these would be accompanied by a Kimber Custom Classic, its one of the older models and a great shooter.

Glock 10mm model 20, loaded with Federal 165 grain JHP.
Benchmade 805s TSEK.
Benchmade 721s.

Yup, FL is where it's at as far as CCW goes. Marion Hammer helped write the statutes and a lot of that silly stuff that some other states have just didn't make it into the law.

I think about the only things we're prohibited from carrying are full auto, silencers and projectile knives.

I carry a smaller Busse (~4 1/2" blade), and a Sebenza. This is my go to work load. They let me slide on the knives, but the 1911 is not welcome at work.

When I do carry, it is a Officers ACP in a Milt Sparks Summer Special.
