Many people aren't aware that the all-American bowie knife was pretty much an American version of Spanish hunting knives, which in turn were inspired by the knives of the Moors. Here's a plamingko (flamenco) knife from the beautiful island of Cebu. It is hand forged 5160 carbon spring steel and the handle and sheath are both made with gmelina. The handle is beautifully shaped and is very comfortable and practical at the same time.
