Celebratory T-shirts

I just had my third book published, and one of the traditions that I established is to have T-shirts made to celebrate each one. My first book, "Understanding Japanese Information Processing" (O'Reilly Media, 1993) had the simplest T-shirts, with a large imprint on the front. My second book, "CJKV Information Processing" (O'Reilly Media, 1999) had front and back imprint, and I had them done in white and ash (grey), in short and long sleeve lengths. (I also had a half-dozen hooded sweatshirts made, but those were only for my family.)

My third book, "CJKV Information Processing" Second Edition (O'Reilly, 2009), is about to have its T-shirts made. See: http://oreilly.com/catalog/9780596514471/

It will have a large (about 12 inches across) imprint on the back, and a smaller (about 4 inches across) imprint on the left chest. I decided that these will be done using a Hanes Beefy T in ash (grey) with short or long sleeve. Standard sizes are S, M, L, and XL. XXL incurs a $3 surcharge. I am ordering 108 shirts in total, and am selling them at cost. My cost, with the sales tax and shipping (from the place that makes them to me) figured in, is $11 for a short-sleeve T-shirt, and $15 for a long-sleeve one. XXL size is $3 more, meaning $14 and $18, respectively. If you are not local and cannot pick it up, shipping will be a flat $5 via USPS Priority Mail.

Here is the front design, to go on the left chest:

And, here is the back design, which will cover the back of the T-shirt:

If anyone is interested in buying one of these T-shirts, please contact me by email (lunde@adobe.com) or send a PM.

Congrats on finishing your third book Ken!!!

But I think I'll pass on the shirt. ;)

Congratulations on your publishing your 3rd book. You have a great collection of Busse knife photos that I reference often. I would like to order one of your shirts.
