Cellidor Version of the Cadet?

The Cadet is probably my favourite Victorinox SAK, as it offers just enough of what I'm looking for. I would like to have the tweezers and toothpick, though. Is there a cellidor pattern that is exactly the same as the Cadet?

Thanks!

flipe8, Wenger made a knife with the tools of the Cadet plus toothpick and tweezers called the Apprentice. It has been discontinued but can be found occasionally. The closest I can think of to what you have described by Victorinox is their Sportsman or small Tinker. They have the same tools as the Cadet plus tp & tweezers but adds an awl and either a corkscrew or screwdriver. Others you may look into are the Evolution or Evogrip 10 & 11 being close to what you described, good luck.

Thanks, redsparrow. My other favourite knife SAK happens to be a Wenger Evo S 11 that was put out for the Scouts in 2007. I carry that regularly, but was hoping Victorinox had a model that was currently produced:thumbup:

You're welcome flipe8. I like Alox but also like having tweezers with me so I keep hoping Victorinox will find a way to incorporate them into the Alox handles. Guess we can't have it all.:)

I would go with the Recruit. Same tools as the Cadet ( but small pen blade instead of nail file) and adds the toothpick & tweezers.

I love the Recruit. One lives in my cupboard and has been my dedicated can opener for the past 7 years or so. If they made a Recruit w/ scissors I'd definitely own a couple.

What about the sportsman?

Sportsman = Cadet + toothpick, tweezers, corkscrew and awl.

Edit: I see redsparrow already suggested the sportsman

The Recuit is probably the nearest option. It is thicker than the wonderfully slim Alox Cadet, but it is close in basic tools and the same length. The other knives mentioned are thicker than the Recruit.

I would either go with a recruit which is such a great knife, or you could just pair your cadet up with a classic. Either way if you don't already own a classic you need to.
