Any info on the first C25 wanted!
What year was it produced?
Any pros or cons with this knife? Anyone have one?
Any info appreciated.

The First Centofante Appears in the -94 catalogue AFAIK.
One thing that is a sort of a con is the fact that the aluminum scratches very easily.
The blade is very thin and has a full flat grind.
Other info might be that it was made in three colors: Grey with black santoprene inlay, Grey with green santoprene inlays and light blue with darker blue santopren inlays. I believe all came in All three edges, but this might be wrong as it can be due to variations in length of serrations on SE models.
The later C25 Centofante II only came in PE or SE, if i remember correctly.

Hope this was some of the info you was looking for.

Henning.

I found this info on a search, hope its what you are looking for.

Frank Centofante C25 & C50 Frank Centofante II
One of the most recognizable names in the custom knife industry is Frank Centofante. A member of the Knifemakers’ Guild since 1971 (and former Guild President), he’s made custom knives for twenty five years. His signature style includes sleekly tapered, spearpoint-style blades. That "Centofante look" is found on two Spyderco models, the C25 Frank Centofante Jr. CLIPIT and C50 Frank Centofante CLIPIT. Both models feature flat ground blades made of ATS-34 stainless steel, available in a PlainEdge or SpyderEdge configuration. The C25 has a blade length of 2 7/8" (72 mm) and the larger C50, a blade length of 3 5/8" (93 mm). The Spyderco Trademark Round Hole is slightly smaller, eliminating the "hump" and giving the blade curving clean lines. A G-10 laminate handle is also slightly curved creating a graceful arching look from the end of the handle to the tip of the blade. A Linerlock is nested (inset) into the handle, making the lock stronger and the knife thin and lightweight. Both models incorporate the new Centofante-designed SecurLok for added security. A major addition for ‘99, the SecurLok is a button (flush in the handle) allowing the user an optional back-up locking mechanism. When engaged the SecurLok sets a bar between a pin in the tang of the blade and the stop pin, making the blade virtually undefeatable and it remains locked until manually released. Both sizes feature tip down carry in the pocket. The smaller C25 weighs 2.25 oz (63 g) and the larger C50 weighs 2.9 oz (82 g). MSRP C25-$130. Ours, $103.95.....C50-$146. Ours,$115.95
These knives have been very hard to get, so expect to be backordered. Call.

I have one with the black G10 handles. It's a great folder. I always loved the blade design not having the hump as mentioned above. Very pointy, very sharp and a great cutter. The handle design is comfy for me but doesn't have any choils or ridges so some folks may find it lacks purchase. I consider it more of a gent's folder given its small size, light weight and smooth action. It's one of my favorite knives.

Custom Collaboration with Frank Centofante from 1994, ATS-34 blade, "extreme drop point", washers on both sides, 6061-T6 aluminium handle, on nonclip side scale is inlaid with checkered Santoprene (thermoplastic rubber), Michael Walker Linerlock of stainless steel.

All edge variantions have been made (SE/PE/CE), MSRP was $ 124,95.

Gray scales with black/green inserts or blue scales with darker blue inserts (in 1997 changed to G-10)

I own a C25 with black G-10 and it's a very nice gentleman folder. I dont use it, only for display
