Hello everyone --
Before you all jump on m about being in the wrong area, please read this first.
Center Cross Knife works is in a very bad position RIGHT THIS SECOND. Our wonderful tax system is about to take Gene and his family to the cleaners because of how it "collects" what it is due. (I too have been wacked by the IRS recently -- they found a mistake on my 1999 return, but that's another ugly story. So much for my refund of a few months ago!)
Gene needs a little help right now. If anyone out there knows about Gene and the type of work he does, they owe it to themselves to go to Gene's website

and check out what is going on. What you do can mean the differewnce between a great knife maker staying in business, or losing a great maker over something stupid.
If I put this in the wrong area I apologize. I wanted to reach as many of you as I could. Gene is one of the best people around, in many ways. Losing him from the list of makers will leave hole very hard to fill. I know this is abd time to expect people to have expendable funds, but this needs to be done.
I hope you can help, and get a great knife at the same time.
