Centering a Benchmade 913?

Before I went messing with the pivot, I wanted to ask a couple questions. First, does the lock or assist mech. push the blade to one side or the other? Second, how important is it that the blade be centered when closed? I just don't want it to rub the liners.

Your 913 should be able to get centered the same way as other locking liners: First try the pivot adjustment, see if that works.

If that doesn't work then take a T6 Torx and loosen the handle scales a little, and with a soft cloth grip the blade and push it towards the direction the blade's closest to the liner. (Make sense?)

Assuming that's successful then tighten the screws and you should be in business.
