Centering of blade

I apologies if this has been discussed before but I can't find it.
I gave a set of scales to my friend and replaced his spacers on his spanto xm 3.5 for him but I can't get the blade to line up. It keeps rubbing on the side near the tip I have loosened all the screws several times and tried to tweak it in place and retighten them but it is not working any suggestions? Or is something wrong?
 
Tried his suggestions still can't get it to center now I kicked up his screw a bit, guess I should buy him a new one, going to the knife show next week in Jersey maybe I will ask my friend if I can bring it with me and have them look at it there if they have time. That what I get for trying to do a favor for a friend.
 
Does the knife go back to center with the factory parts? Have you checked the dimensions of the new parts with the old?also you could try numbering the spacers and try to change the order in which they are placed in the knife.
