Recently bought a used 25 and the centering is off just enough to bug me. I've tried changing screws, business card trick, etc and no luck. Anybody have any tips?

just bend the blade enough to get it spot on. :p

It may clear itself up after a bit of break in time but really it should be centred from day one. It may be that it is indeed a little off but still with in spec. for CRK.

Man, CRK flat grinds their scales to be perfectly parallel. So if there is no blade play when open, all you can try is to loosen the scale screws and pivot, open the blade, tighten the pivot just until there is no play, then then tighten the scale screws and close the blade to see where it's at.

If it is still off center, you can try loosening all the screws, wedge the blade toward the side you wish it favored more, tighten up the scale screws and pivot, then see where you're at.

It has taken me an hour to get mine perfectly centered before, so try combinations of the above.

If it doesn't work, send it in to CRK. Solice yourself in the fact that when it returns it will be just like you got a brand-new knife.

The wait will be worth it! And your dilemma will be over.

I have tried over and over swapping screws, flipping the 1 washer you can, changing pivot screw around, putting a business card in it to favour one side, etc. It is still just a smidge off center. Anybody have any other tips?? I'd prefer not to send it in as it will cost an arm and a leg shipping from Canada.

How much side to side play do you have when the blade is out and you remove the lock tension?
You should have "0"------

If its just your tip that is off centered, could just need some sharpening. That's all CRK would do, assuming there's no problems elsewhere.
