Centering the blade on Umnumzaan.

Just purchased an Umnumzaan from a fellow forum member. It didn’t come with the take down tool, and the blade is a bit off center. Is there a way I can center the blade without sending it out to CRK?

Try loosening the rear handle screw a little and see if you move the handle to a bit to make the blade centered and then retighten it, if that makes sense.

Goes right back to the original "off center" position.

Messed with the pivot just a touch, and it seemed to center the blade…Looks like I’m done here.

Just spend the twelve and a half dollars (or whatever it costs) to get the take down kit. It's nice to have.

+1, the take down kit is great to have. If you're having trouble centering it send it back to CRK. It should center perfectly every time.
