Centofante confusion

I was just going through my inventory of C25's and C50's trying to find a matching set. I didnt' realize there were so many combinations of emblems and clips. This is what I found among my stock.

C25GP:
black and gold emblem / three screw gray clip
black and silver emblem / three screw silver clip
C25GS:
black and silver emblem / three screw silver clip
C50GP:
black and gold emblem / three screw gray clip
black and silver emblem / three screw silver clip
C50GS:
black and gold emblem / two screw gray clip

All are serial numbers below 1000.
Two different emblems and three different clips.
Did somebody mess up?

Frank - we were surprized at this as well. The emblem changed rom Gold to silver as we crossed a certain number ( Danelle?). My guess is that they were mix & matching parts to try to get prodution out becauswe we were so heavily backordered. Allshold perform well. Cuurrent production is the same with black 3 screw clips and silver emblems.

I have a C25GS #155 with a silver emblem and a C50GS #155 with a gold emblem. I have a some others all under #1000 that have silver emblems.

FWIW, I have a C25GP, s/n 956, w/black and silver emblem & three screw silver clip. I love the way it fits low in the pocket, but wish it had a less visible black clip. Hint, hint...
