We have decided to have our annual Hammer-In on the third weekend in April this year and like always it will be held at my shop and forge located just outside of Cairo, MO Every one is welcome to come watch and participate as this is a hands on type Hammer-In where new makers can jump right in and learn how to make Damascus or forge the most common blade steels used today.
We don't charge anything to attend this Hammer-In The only thing we ask is that anyone attending bring something for the Iron in the hat drawing that we have to help offset the cost of gas and lunch that we provide both days.
We'll have a couple Hyd presses and trip hammers running along with several forges and the usual anvils and hammers for anyone wanting to do it the arm strong way. LOL
We have several motels within 4 miles of the location in Moberly, MO
