Central Oregon Makers

Hello,
I was living in Washington state, but I've recently moved to Central Oregon. I'm curious to see the knife makers in the area. I'm looking for a mentor to teach me as well. So if anyone knows of someone in the central Oregon area that is well established, and would be willing to mentor me, please let me know!
I'm not knowledgeable about who is in the area, as far as knife makers go, so please let me know if you know of anyone in the area as well!

Google can be your friend, check for local organizations for Makers, Hammer Ins, etc in your new area and give them a call!

What Tim said. I'm not a member, but I know a few of the guys who run the hammer-ins through the NWBA and they are great guys.

You've got one of the most vibrant knifemaker communities in the nation in central oregon. Eugene is a hotbed of em. Hit the Eugene Knife show up in April and you'll be all set for meeting and greeting.
