Every night for the past 3 weeks I get a data base error trying to log in to the site at around 11 to 1109 pm

I've also noticed the DBE at around 9-12 minutes past a certain hour. The server the forums is on might be running a back up of some kind. Only Spark knows.

I'll try and get some kind of summary from him. If I recall, it has to do with the previous hacking attempts, the newer security software does some facncy backup and possibly checks for vulnerabilities. It would be nice to have the reason documented here for people that are 't like our paying members having issues so a bit of detail might help smcurious. I don't like having issues and I sure don't like our paying members having issues. A little detail may help in understanding and smooth the frustration a bit. :thumbup:

An explanation would be interesting, but I've gotten used to it. At a little after 11:00 Central, I've got about 10 minutes where the site is down and I decide to either have a cup of coffee or go brush my teeth and go to bed.

Right on never made me mad just thought I would record it here so it documented but I'm always curious so heck let's find out

It's annoying; but I'm used to it...it really doesn't bother me, except those times I'm not paying attention and finish a post during the down time. That sucks, and I don't always manage to save it.
Generally, though, I get the lag, know what it is, and just go check another site for 15-20 minutes.
