Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat and Rust

Is it true that if you put Cerakote Ceramic Trim Coat on your blades, they will not rust? What is a clear coat coating you recommend on Satin finish blades?

Yes, the blade will not rust. Cerakote is probably the best for protection against rust. But the edge is not coated and will rust, thus maintenance is key. They do have a clear coat. Tops use it.
But, stainless avoids all those issues and comes more affordable as Cerakoating costs.
Edit: Just figured that the "Trim" product is for plastics, not for steel. It is under the scope of maintenance, not permanent. So it is a temporary solution as it degrades over time, tho all else I mentioned stands.
