It's been a fair amount of time I think to ask how those who own INFI that is cerakoted how they like the different finish?

How is it holding up to use? Are there advantages? Disadvantages?

Thanks!

I was wondering about that,, I know AZTim posted some user pics,, it did seem to wear off.
I wonder it that offering with all those Cerakoted blades was a beta test of sorts..

I'd also be curious if anyone knows if this finish could be easily blasted off (like double cut) once it's been sufficiently worn away from use?

I prefer it to powder coat. It is extremely durable and creates less friction when cutting, slicing and chopping. I wish I would have bought more.

It does seem like it would be harder to blast off than the powder, my guess is once it is sufficiently worn enough to warrant coating removal you are going to be better off chemically stripping the blade.

I found Busse's cerakote to be mediocre and that's not a knock on them.

They wear of easily and not sandblasted prior to coating. the good thing about it is that it has the BIG finish underneath the coating.

I would have kept mine and been able to share my experience with the blade finish. However, I sold them because I very much disliked the feel of the coated grip panels. YMMV :)

How did you remove the cerakote?

I have a Shark Fase Fat ASH-1, I like how the finish is much smoother than standard crinkle coating, but i havent gotten around to using it yet, so cant speak for its durability.

the coating on the grip feels strange to the bare hand, but with gloves I can't tell a difference
