Cerakote H redo

Hi there - I assume Cerakote H is what Busse Combat uses on their knives and i plan to redo mine and have a couple questions.

1. Will micarta hole up to 250F for two hours to cure or must i remove handle?
2. Do I have to sandbast down to metal and remove 100% of old coating or just a little bit as in make old rough and then reshoot?

You can send it in to have the coating redone. Not sure what the charge is but you could call Lexi and find out tomorrow.

I will paint custom like 4 colors - camo skulls and stuff like my gun.. Busse wont do that.

All of our coating is done with the handles off so I have no idea what would happen if you left the handles on. Interested to see how you knife turns out.
