Daniel, you ever thought of doing a folder with cerakote? I just got this one to see if I liked the coating. It's very cool, actually.

I like Cerakote, it's some super durable stuff! I bet Dan could do it in his low temp oven. Lauer has small kits available for not much money...

I have to look into it, I understand the general process and it sounds solid. Thanks!

Dibs on the first one!!

The blade has a different texture, more like a powder coat. Although, I think I've seen pics of blades with the cerakote.

just dont do it in the kitchen oven...wife wont be happy. It outgasses some nasty stuff as it bakes.

Duracoat then? Is there a way to tye dye that sheet on? :D Will duracoat bake on over ano job? :D Resist//

I call dibs on a Titanium knife with Gen II cerakote for ultimate concealment! The Gen II stuff is also IR signature reducing...

That site you named only shows durcoat.. just wondering why you mentioned it and we are talking about cerakote.. unless I missed something, which is very possible...

Clear coating! That sounds interesting! Keep that ano looking fresh and shiny!

More Ti!

I'll be looking further into this! The options are just nuts... :D

I think Cerakote sounds more like what I want to use over the Duracoat but I have just barely looked into this.

Yeah, oops. I just bought some durakote and use their gun paints too, just had it on the brain I guess. Cerakote is a superior product and through a different company.
