Does anyone have experience sharpening knives that have been cerakoted? Curious if I'm about to gunk up my stones(kme not bench) or not. Thanks, I'll hang up and listen.

When removing the Cerakote from a freshly coated blade's edge, there will be a small amount of buildup on the stone.
Nothing a quick scrub won't remove.

On a Cerakoted blade that already has the edge bevel exposed, not an issue at all.

Good deal, I appreciate you getting back to me. Where'd you have the GB cerakoted?

Look for @cerakoterefinishingart on Instagram, or Cerakoting Brandon on Facebook.
It's the same guy.
I've had him do a few knives for me, and he's always done a great job, with a short turnaround time.
