Just got my scales back and installed. I bought two extra sets of original PMs scales cheap on ebay. I had a local metal coater do them in Cerakote in Battleship grey.

I will see how they hold up. This stuff is very tuff on some of my firearms. Heck you can clean it with brake cleaner! I think they look nice. I likely won't carry anyways.battleshipgrey2.JPG

Would be interesting to hear how they hold up. I've had liners cerakoted and they always seem to wear. It also depends which Cerakote process was used.

How it is applied is very true. I have seen when the base is bead blasted lightly, it seems to hold up very well.

LOL. I carry 1 OD green PM2 all the time. It will likely outlast me. Then I have 21 other variations of them to work thru.
Well you got me beat !
You have about twice as many pm2 as I have spyders !

That's a good enough reason not to use one.

So I have a few Glock 19 slides in FDE Cerakote and 1 Noveske AR, but I've never seen Cerakote applied to G10.

I'm interested to see how it holds up over time. I know guys do it to polymer pistol frames (Glock, Sig, HK, etc) all the time.

It definitely looks slick.
