So I have been struggling to figure out how to take good pictures of my knives. It took me a couple of days to track down the parts to create a light box, and I just so happened to have finished a knife today.

OAL ~9.5" Just a tad under.
Blade length - 4.5"
1095 steel fully hardened and thermal cycled in my EvenHeat oven.
Scalloped g10 handles.
I have been working hard on getting the grinds really thing so this was one of my first really thin grinds.

My friend who is a custom gun smith has been showing me how to use some machining tools and he cerakotes for a living so he was showing me stuff and cerakoted the knife.

The entire blade was cerakoted at first. But then I had this idea to sand off the spine and I like how it added to matching the 416 pins that where just hanging out by themselves until the final spine sanding.

Discussion is welcome and I am interested in hearing about what you think about the knife and how the pictures turned out as well.

I cant tell but the tip looks a little off in the last pic, those sharp angles where the handles meets the glass breaker looks like the might be uncomfortable, but other than that I like it, looks like a nice little fighting knife.

Bronyblacksmith - yeah there is a slight wave in the clip that ended up happening during my final grinding that makes it look a tad off when looking at it from the top.

Nice!
We need a tanto next.

Haha! Maybe one day. I like the hunting and bowie style knives. I feel like I am getting to that point where I will try a small bowie and then if that goes well a bigger bowie. I like frame handle knives as well. I have have done two really crude ones and want to make some better.

But I am really happy with how the pictures came out on this one. Minus my left side of the clip.

Brian, I dig the blade shape and grinds, but would radius/blend/soften those sharp edges and corners at the rear handle cutouts for the lanyard hole.
