Coated my Trident Oberland 01. I have spent the last 2 hours trying to get the stuff off of the edge. It needs some light sanding to reduce the shine for my taste, slightly shinier than the standard BM black coating. If it holds up to some chopping and stabbing tomorrow I think it will be a great coating. It is really slick on the blade, that was part of the problem with removing the material on the edge. I started with diamond rods and finished with the ceramic ones from the sharpamaker. I will post some photos of it tomorrow after the torture tests. Total prep time and spray time was about 1.5 hours, that is bead blasting with alum oxide and degreasing it. Then the mix and spray, and a 35 min bake time in the oven. Doesn't include taking the stuff off of the edge.

What is the baking temperature and is there the possibility that the blade's temper could be affected during the process?

baking temp is set at 275 degrees Farenheit. Magic says that unless it runs at 450+ for over 6 hours the temper wont be affected.
