I went to one of my knife dealers today to check out his stuff and I stumbled upon this beauty. I saw traces of carbon fiber in the box so I asked him. He showed me a few and this one stuck out. I've always wanted to try out ceramic knives, but just never really bother pulling the trigger on the ones in wally world. When there's a ceramic bladed folder, that's when it really caught my eye.
What really surprised me was the quality of this knife. The carbon fiber is quite gorgeous nothing really fancy, but has that voice of simple elegance. The blade centering is perfect and the lock up is tight with no play at all. The best part is that it has that magical Sebenza smooth. The fit and finish could use a little work, since the carbon fiber isn't completely flush with the lock slab, but it's nothing to that'll bother me. Knife is quite light according to the website it's 2 oz. It does feel about 2 oz and it's quite comfortable in my hand. My main complain on this knife is how it's tip down only, but at least it's a deep tip down carry... I've done some light cardboard cutting and boy does this thing like to slice. I'll be EDCing it for the next few weeks and see how it'll hold up. I'm quite optimistic about this knife.
Here's the website to the knife: http://www.ceramicknife.org/catalog1.html
Ok Picture time.
