Ceramic slip joints (resin handles), all with tool-ready pivots (however, I use a tool and can only get the pivot pins to spin in place...), with a card holding ceramic knife and fork and other non-ceramic tools. The nine pieces sum to 10.28 ounces. The large folders are about 8.5 inches overall open and the smallest measure close to 5.25 inches OA when open.

My personal favorite first, note that blade stop works as a thumb stud does for one-hand opening, hand model of this group shown in sequence, large, medium, small and card:

Thank you for looking.

Short video showing large green/white ceramic slip joint folder and its self-close which functions as blade protrusions slip into detents in the handle. Notice how the pivot area of the handle flexes open and closed while the blade protrusions move into and out of the handle detents. Once the blade protrusions are in the handle detents the blade wants to stay open or closed. However, there is no lock and this knife is a slip joint.

Priced under $8 in my hands makes the large green ceramic folder disposable and this bargain price is one of the main reasons I like this functional pocket knife. Light weight, easy to open and close, sharp out of the box, no rustability of the handle or blade (can't say about the pivot) and lively color are other reasons I like it. The self-close seems like magic to me. And there is no hole in the blade for a thumb stud which, IMHO, would tend to make the ceramic blade stronger. I've ordered a handful more of this one for myself and my hope is that they each have the same qualities of this one shown above in the videos.

Thank you for looking.

I can't say the knives are very appealing to me but I do think the pocket knife/fork is kind of neat.

I really like the first one. It would be a cool knife to take to a house party if you're going to do food prep. How do you sharpen a ceramic knife?

I'm intrigued.

But I'd be even more intrigued if they didn't look like feminine-hygiene products.

Inexpensive ceramic kitchen folders, slipjoint-ish and friction folders, can be found here in the local Chinatown. And seem to be all over ebay. Looks like we're well past the tipping point where ceramic blades were still exotic and now virtually disposable.

I got samples from the mfg of all of their folders and pocket tools for cost of shipping, 3 days from Xaimen. Consistency among folders could be better but price is right. Gotta buy in bulk however...

Where can I get these?

They are highly portable food prep purposed folding knives so you hit it on the button. I doubt that I will ever sharpen one.

+1
Can you email me?
Thanks

LOL. Don't they though. You are funny.

This. ^ :D
New colors and I'm in.

Glow in the dark, clear, flower print, and, wait for it: 3D printing in relief of anatomically correct of heart's desire on the handles, AKA your girl friend's whoosit in relief! :)

No keychain hole on these. The big green folder is a one-hander when you use the blade stop as a thumb stud. I'll post my impressions on the next handful I receive as I'm curious if manufacturing quality of these has any consistency.

Careful with the paint as some ingredients can cause severe pain upon contact with sensitive areas and won't easily scrub off. Embarrassing visit to the ER! :)

BTW, the only one that opens easily is the one from Chris, a forum member, in Jakarta that he bot at his local A** Hardware store. None of the similar, large folders with blade stops, knives directly from the manufacturer, Hitecera, open easily with my thumb. And I haven't been able to adjust their pivots. Maybe some mineral oil might help.

I appreciate the white blade color. It is easy to see if it is clean or not before you cut food. These are food preparation folding knives. It may be the best color for that task. The handles, IMHO, should be crystal clear see-thru so you can see how clean or filthy the interior of the handle is in order to help control sanitation of the blade.

I trying to talk to the manufacturer about dis-assembly and blade wobble when open. The language barrier wall is steep but I am trying my best. I love this stuff. I really do. I want to take the big knives apart to understand how they operate and troubleshoot issues.

Does anyone have anything they want to ask/tell the manufacturer?

These six just arrived this morning and they are consistent and without obvious flaws. Three I can open with my thumb and three need a little working in. I haven't tried mineral oil but I bet that helps. So the quality is higher in this bunch from a HK retailer than in the sample from the manufacturer. I've contacted the mfg. with my concerns. I am happy with all of these. You can buy a thrill. :)
