Ceramic Forge Shelf Material

Greetings All
I've been making knives for quite some time (started in 1979) and have since ventured into hand forging. I'm using a propane gas forge that uses a ceramic shelf to heat the steel. I live in Wyoming and have to inport everything that I need. Where can I find material to replace my shelf. The flux is eating up the existing one and I don't want to contaminate blades that I'm heat treating. Most pottery suppliers have shelf liners.Blacksmith suppliers do, too.Try Centaur Forge Supply.
 
On my forges I use the hard fire bricks the half brick. The flux doesn't eat through the, and they are only $.99 each. Check your local brick yard.
