Just completed the Cetan that I bought from Rob Simonich (GREAT GUY) I just bought a blade, as I already had the rest of the materials. It came out pretty good, but being my own worst critic I see room for improvement. I sent a scan of the knife to Rob and to my suprise he ask if he could put it on his web site. I said yes of course and was very pleased that he thought it was good enough to be on his site. I have been making some kit knives while I continue to work on my grinding skills. I have completed a few blades lately that I wasn't ashamed to show to someone else, the first ones are still laying in the shop. They didn't even deserve to be heat treated, maybe I will try to touch them up someday.
Take a look at the Cetan on Robs' site, he has it in the Kit Section, and give me some feedback(I can take the criticism)If I dont know what others think then I wont know what to change next time.
Thanks for your time,
Mike Conner

Good job, Mike. Very nice, I like the handles you have on there. What will you use for a sheath?

Drop point you did a very nice job indeed! It would be nice if the scanners didnt put the blade in shadow, you should go to a good print shop and see if they will take a digital shot of it and send it to me. The Mammoth Ivory lookd great there, I have a Talonite Cetan to do in Mammoth and it gives me an idea of what it will look like. See the picture on my site of Mikes and Peters knives in the kit section. Rob

Man that looks nice. I'm just working out the kinks on two cheap blades before moving to my own cetan(in Talonite, WooHoo)
