Just finished this for a long waiting customer, 9-1/2" W2 blade is 3/8" thick at ricasso tapering to just under 1/4" at "clip" which is 3" wide and sharp. SS guard/pins, Ceylon Ebony handle. A few qiuck pics, was raining out couldnt really catch the hamon well.

Cool looking cleaver, Matt. Lots of W2 with a nice hamon. Should have a super-pleased customer out there.

Great looking cleaver! Is the clip sharp? hows the balance?

I think Eric wants one just like this ;)

HI All, blade is 9-1/2" x 3" wide at the "clip", handle is 5-1/2" long. Yes the "clip" is sharp, really feels good in the hand for such a big piece-o-steel, not sure on weight dont know the exact weight, scale is broke, but it balances about 1" fwd of guard.

thanks!

That looks Great Matt!! Very similar to what I sketched out for Charlie to forge out for me. Hopefully soon I'll be getting one like it. :)
