Well, since my last post triggered a CF-4 Stinger to be dug up and offered for sale (congrats Sniper308 on picking that one up!

), let's see If THIS post can dig up the ellusive CF-2. Anyone ever seen one? Heard of one? I have not. Looking for a picture of one to complete my collection. Anyone?

Rfrost:

Have you seen Ernie's drawing of the CF2 in his catalogue?

If not I'd be happy to send you a digital photo of it instantly.

The CF2 is the exact same blade as the CF1, however the CF2 has a different handle variation. The CF2 has a very sharp point on the pommel where the CF1 has a rounded blunt end. On the CF1 it appears that approx 1/2 inch of metal is exposed on the handle.

I am sending John a copy of the catalogue (Circa 1991) to be posted on the Emerson Gallery. I will send you a photo of it tonight so you can see exactly what I'm talking about.

The photo you posted of my fixed blade Martial Arts knife with the right hand grind looks nothing at all like the CF2. The Martial Art knife has a thumb rest on the top of the blade which no other Emerson Fixed Blade has. Once you see the photos you'll see the difference instantly.

I love this forum.
