Hi all. Does anyone know where a carbon-fiber Cricket, preferably plain-edge, might be found? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that they can still be found at knifecenter.com. Go to the Spyderco section and search under folders constructed with carbon fiber.

Actually, I tried that before posting. The page is still up, but if you try to order, it says that they are no longer available or in their catalog.

Hmm. Most strange. Maybe I was trying a different site with "Knifecenter" in the name. I just went to the Knifecenter site and it let me order one. Sweet! Thanks for the advice.

The C.Fiber Cricket has been discontinued by Spyderco. I finally got one a few weeks ago from a friend. It cost me $75 but it was worth it.

According to Sal, I got the last CF Cricket Spyderco had. Got it at Blade show. Mine is spidie edged though.

Good luck finding one. But if you find two let me know. I would like to add one to my collection also.

It's a fine line between "a hobby" and "mental illness".

I do not get it why did they discontinue the cricket model? I personely do not care to much for carbo fiber. I have had nothing but bad luck i guess i must be to rough with my knives as they break or crack. I have a aluminum cricket with a serrated blade and that thing is built like a tank with a solid lock that brings a smile to my face when it slams shut. I got the last one in stock from the local knife dealer then a week later saw on the spydie home page it had been dropped from production. I personaly think they should have kept the metal cricket ( More bang for the buck )

I was at SFO a month ago and they still had some CF Crickets. You might want to give them a call at 1-800-525-7770.

Lokelani, does SFO stand for Spyderco Factory Outlet? Do they have normal number (I can't phone 1-800 numbers) or an e-mail address?
Thanks, Ted

Ted - Lokelani maybe "out" for a couple of weeks travelling.

SFO does stand for Spyderco Factory Outlet. I know they do email, but silly as it sounds, I don't know the address. I'm sure someone here does. Their normal telephone number is 303-279-8613
