Hi Mksql. The new CF batch of Police models will have one liner on the side of the clip. This gives us a metal base for screws. The right hand and left hand versions will have the liner on the opposite side.

I don't get it? Why is there a left hand version, and a right hand version when the Police is a lockback?
Surely, the only difference if any -- depending on your L or R dexterity -- should be which side the serrated blade version is ground on. Otherwise, why would it depend which side a steel liner is on if it's a lockback?
I would assume, because if it's setup for left handers it would have the clip on the opposite side so that the opening hole would still face the inside of the pocket for ease of draw.
