Are there any reviews on BF or elsewhere, of the Carbon Fiber large Sebenza? Couldn't seem to find anything while searching the forum. Are they still available from CRK? I'm probably going to get on the list for a regular production Sebenza 25, but this model looks pretty awesome. Would love to hear how people are liking it as compared to all ti Sebenzas.

I have a 21 with the standard titanium scales, an insingo micarta and a cf 21. The cf is by far my favorite sebenza. I think there are a few threads about them, ill post a link if i can find one. They are for sale in knifeart.com

I really like the weight and feel of the CF models, I was hoping they would offer the small Insingo with the scale but I ended up putting my own together, so to speak. it has quickly become my favorite knife to carry outside of work or field.

I enjoyed the combo so much I picked up a large CF for a good price on the bay, it is light enough to carry with a clip in a shorts cargo pocket, despite it's size. It feels as solid as a full ti model but is very pocket friendly, the cf has a nice dry feel to it and kind of a flat finish. Lovely knife, the large has been sold out at KnifeArt for some time but you might find it direct from CRK.

Knifeworks is going to order some more... They are going to get a LH one for me. Probably will be a bit of a wait, I imagine.

Woo Hoo! I just called knife art and put my name on the waiting list for a large left hand CF 21. They said it might take a long time but that's ok!

Scott,

You will really dig the large Carbon. It is smooth as silk! Well worth the wait my friend. I was pondering over a small to go with my large, but ended up picking up a small micarta/damascus one that should be here early next week!

I called knife art. They have a small right hand one on their site now. I think Knife Art has an exclusive on them IIRC.

This thread is useless..............

Sorry for the crappy pics. I believe I have one of a very few, or maybe the only lefty large CF. I hounded that site daily, and called regularly until I finally got her. And I think they've been out of stock since.

Whenever more do come in, you guys will love them. It's a great knife!

Dude at first I thought you were trolling until I scrolled down and I saw the pictures. That is one seriously cool knife, I'm glad I put my name on the list for one!!!

Yea, I like the weight, It's nice and light.

Now I just need to find a good large annual.

Somebody must have them all!!;)

I have both a large and small CF. They are light, smooth, and strong, the pinnacle of the Sebenza design in my opinion. I really like the large a lot, one of my all time favorite EDC knives. I sent it off to the spa a few weeks ago for double studs and you guys are killing me with this thread, now I can't wait to get it back.

The small literally disappears in my pocket, don't even know its there. It's only like 2oz in weight, I think it may float, lol!

KnifeArt is what I meant to say. I called CRK and they told me I had to order one through KnifeArt. They took my name and phone number, but no down payment or anything. I'm really really looking forward to it--hope it's not to long a wait. Maybe now that they have a couple on order it will expedite things a bit.

Thanks for the pics... It looks awesome!

I argee. Guy at knife art said he's had them on back order for ever let's hope it's soon!

I love my CF Sebenza. My favorite EDC period.

It's only 3.7 oz with a great amount of cutting edge. It feels just as sturdy as the regular Sebenza. Defiantly purchase one if you like it!

Love my CF Sebbies!! I have matching small and large 18 of 50! CF is up to CR high standards. Top notch!

Wow! this thread just cost me some dough. I just purchased the small 21 carbon fiber/titanium Sebenza from KnifeArt.com
This will be my first Sebenza. I hope I made the right choice between this carbon fiber one and the regular small 21 with both titanium scales.

Does anyone have both and can confirm that the carbon fiber/titanium version is lighter than the regular?

Yes, it is noticeably lighter when side by side compared. You won't be disappointed, congrats!

Thanks Biginboca for that. I feel better about the purchase now. Within the last week I purchased a Hinderer XM-18 3" and now this! I can't wait to receive both. I read such great things about Hinderer XM-18s and Sebenzas I just had to make the decision to try and experience them for myself. I have a feeling both will be keepers!
