I have a few Spydercos on the go just now but finaly got this one finished up this morning.

It's a CF/Ti "franken Mili" with S30V blade my friend swapped out from his large collection of Militarys.
It's a bit of a shame the carbonfiber has a different weave that the scale does but it still looks ok. :)

Here is a few quick and crappy pics I snapped before sending it home.......

Very, VERY cool. Dig the large grooved look.
The mosaic pin(?) in the lanyard hole is a nice touch.

Very nice fit and finish. I can give you that comment and I'm a perfectionist!

Very neat how there's a Moisaic Pin in the Lanyard hole, that would be my choice!

That looks really good Haze.Looks comfortable too.

I like that CF claw in the background.Did you make that?

You've just made a perfect knife even better!
Seems to ad a lot of extra grip and the mosaic pin is such a sweet detail.
Love it!

Haze, nice job on that one! Really makes the knife look good, your buddy should be happy to get it back in that condition:thumbup:

Thanks all for the kind words, my friend better be happy with it, that was a bit of a mare to do. I had to custom make two threaded stand offs to mount through the new spacer. :grumpy:
He saw the pics of that blue and orange military (from France I think) that have been floating about for a while and wanted something similar but in CF, so here it is.:)

That CF claw is one of a few prototypes I have been playing with, more to come on those soon once a select few and I iron out the bumps. ;)

I do believe that is the nicest mod I have ever seen on a knife, good job. It takes a really good design sense to improve upon the original. Then again, I always thought that the 'floating' spacer on the military was a bit unresolved. -P
