What can the Suspects tell me about the CF7 knife? I see from the Emerson list that there is only one with a known home (I am not sure how up to date the list is) - so is it a rare knife?

I ask this as I have a lead on one and would like some background.

Regards,

Ed

The Trivector is a full sized fighting knife capable of producing a massive wound cavaity. This is a common trait among the Trivector, Vindicator, Trident and the Rogue Warrior blades. Ernie sold three or four Trivectors at the NYCKS yet they remain a rarer knife than its cousin the Vindicator. Both the Trivector and the Vindicator found popularity among some SEAL Team personnel so I would imagine that most examples of these models knives ended up in their hands.

Thank you for the input - I know where another one of the ones from the NY show has gone - to USPS. :D :D

ed, hope that ups is on its way to you. i handled those at the ny show. big and awesome. the kind of fixed blade that holds your hand rather than your hand holding it. has an internal life to it. great score.

I agree with Jackstraw on the Trivector's feel. It definitely communicates with you when in hand.
I worked with the Trivector slowly at first out of sheer respect for its size, weight and sharpness. I quickly found that the knife allowed me to guide it without trying to guide me . This intuitive feel was something that I felt with the Trident but never acheived with the Vindicator.

Good Score Ed!

I was debating on buying I'm sure the same knife you bought. I hesitated, . . . . . . and lost.

I'm only aware of the location of three of these including yours. I'm unable to update the gallery with the current information although I do have it available if anyone has a question on a particular Emerson.

Congratulations!

Sniper,

Surely you all people should know that to pause is too loose in the race for rare Emerson Customs!!!!! I am sure that it will be a nice second fixed blade in my collection. :D

I feel some pics comming on for next week!

Regards,

Ed

Okay, I'll raise you one nameless fixed blade and a SAS Smock...... :D

So Ark, I guess that you win that round - do you have a pic of the three together?

Anybody else out there got any interesting fixed blades to add to the mix?

Ed

Very nice Sniper, but I thought you were into banana blades rather than handles?

I am also sure that you are aware that a couple of those knives are ground on the wrong side for an Emerson. They must be fakes so you can send them to me and I will cover the postage so that you do not feel hard done by - deal?

Regards,

Ed
